Woke up this morning 1/2" down on my waist and 1/2" down on my hips. I am now officially at 24% body fat! I am so happy I could cry! I felt a little lazy yesterday, but I really needed the extra rest day, so I didn't push myself.

You absolutely have to take rest days to see the gains you have made from all of your hard work. I pushed myself really hard the last 10 days and lost several pounds - my body needed a little bit more of a break.

Now I can go back to my 2 days on, 1 day off schedule because that works for me really, really well. I used to work out 6 days a week (14 years ago), but now my body likes this new schedule. So I need to just listen to my body.
138.0 lb Lost so far: 15.8 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 15 May 2011:
2026 kcal Fat: 123.45g | Prot: 115.02g | Carb: 100.78g.   Breakfast: Heavy Whipping Cream, Original Sausage Patty, egg, Coffee, darigold butter. Lunch: apple, strawberry, gnc wheybolic, ham. Dinner: coors light, apple, 100% whole grain wheat thins, tillamook swiss cheese, salami. Snacks/Other: broccoli, cauliflower, Shallots, garlic, avocado. more...

woohoo! great job! it's good to recognize when you're body needs the rest and not push yourself over the edge.

It still bugs me taking so many rest days, but that's what my body needs. :)
