This evening was the first time I experienced any emotional eating. I think that I was feeling pressure about tomorrow's weigh-in. I have been stepping on the scales each morning and seeing no weight loss and I think that I placed too much importance on the action of the scales. So a bit of self sabotage took place this evening. BUT even though I ate more than I should have, I still ate within the allowable foods, and I still wrote it all down and I still came up under my carb limit. That is improvement for me.
214.0 lb Lost so far: 13.0 lb.    Still to go: 66.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 01 May 2011:

Be patient friend. I don't weigh myself but every two weeks and then I get a nice surprise. If your clothes are fitting better and you feel good, don't let the scale dictate your life. One thing I've noticed reading thru different posts is when people who eat the Atkins bars and shakes find that when they cut these items, they seem to lose weight a bit easier... just a thought.
