The switch to the low-fat vegan diet has been a qualified success so far -- even though I haven't lost much weight on it. The foods I am eating (bananas and dates are staples)are foods I like, and they seem healthy. Fiber certainly isn't a problem!
I am becoming a little more familiar with the rules of the diet and how to make it work for me. I've been making banana smoothies for breakfast most mornings.
I like the idea of not restricting calories. One of the videos I watched talked about how sugar cravings might result from not eating enough fruit sugar during the day. Craving chocolate and desserts after dinner is a problem for me, so this idea was interesting.
