Strange. A 2 lb drop from yesterday, and all I did was up my calories and cut out crystal light 100% and drank water all day. I think I'll do it again today! :)
Thanks all of you who supported me yesterday, when I needed it the most. I didn't expect any feedback, to be honest. I can honestly say, you saved me. I owe you one. <3

Water is a miracle elixir. My family has made fun of my water consumption (and the accompanying bathroom stops) for years. Water is the reason I didn't gain twice as much over these last few years of limited mobility. I'm so relieved to finally be able to move better. As for upping your calories, I'm not an expert on all things metabolism, but my husband gave me the hint to pick a range (like you did) and be on the higher end for a day or two, then swing back to the lower end for 3 days, and then back to the higher. It sort of tricks your body so it won't have the tendency to go into "starvation mode" and hold on to your fat molecules with a vengeance, lol.

Always trying to drink more water. I too know where all the restrooms are, wherever I go ;)

ok friends, I have been trying to follow 1800 calories count, because I read somewhere that if you want to reach a target of 180 pounds eat 1800 calories. SO now i am 230 Lb and my target in a year is 180. SO slowly and steady. I have so much pressure in every other part in my life and I want this time to take it easy and slow. I tried lots of hard dies and i would lose the weight for a year or so then I added again with any change in my personal life. Now I hope if I make it easy I will be able to follow it even with life ups and down. Water for me is a key. I have different colors of water bottle to know how much I drank without counting. So good luck every one.

If you eat too few calories your body sometimes goes into a slower mode to reserve resources. Also, a side effect of artificial sweeteners is that they actually make you hungry. Water is definitely the best drink. Save the calories for something you can chew :-D Hang in there! It is worth it!

CANYUDO - I think so too. And thanks! :) HANNAHSMOM- I'm beginning to think so! ;) GILLIANSINGS - That makes perfect sense; and I've read that too somewhere! ERWINWARRIOR- First thing I do, is figure out where the cans are lol EMANMAAMOUN- Exactly. Good way of looking at it. LAHNI DE AMICIS- Thanks, so much. I much prefer the chew over the drink any day lol

I, too, believe in water. It whisks away the toxins released from fat loss and is vital to all body functions. You done good kiddo.

This is like the Atkins bars. Different people's bodies respond differently to different artificial sweeteners. Calories in / calories out is nonsense. If your body releases insulin in response an artificial sweetener, it won't matter if you only eat 500 calories/day, they'll all get stored, because the hormones dictate what the machinery does. Good call on the water, and for best results, log _everything_ :)
