Still sick. Both kids are sick as well. About 30 minutes after 1 or 2 am when the nearly 4 year old climbed into bed with me coughing the oldest starting throwing up from coughing/gagging. Thankfully I have a wonderful husband who got up with the oldest to do nebulizers until he was able to stop cough gagging and go back to sleep (nearly 2hrs for my poor husband and son).

I dropped my intake goal down 50 calories yesterday because I want to take part in an under 1200 challenge on here. Then will drop it down another 50 calories to 1200 when the challenge starts next week. I wasn't planning to drop it to 1200 til I hit 149, but was planning on dropping to 1250 at 159, so I guess I'm just speeding that up a bit. Yesterday I ended at 1244. Sincecwe're sick, this morning as a pick me up the boys and I cheated a bit and made chocolate rice krispies for breakfast, but I kept the calories in mine around 200. Was a very yummy 200!

I did drop a little more in weight- 160.8, 3 days ago I was 160.2, slowly getting back down here. Breaking through to the 150s is being a tease =p
160.8 lb Lost so far: 13.2 lb.    Still to go: 41.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hang in there! I remember those days. My kids are 16 and 20 now. It gets better! How do I support you? New to this!

Thank you =) There should be a little rectangle under posts/updates with a heart and the word support. You just click on it. It is possible my favorite thing about this site when compared to other fitness sites (close tie with the on screen widget on my tablet/phone). Such a wonderful way to let others know they aren't alone and someone supports them. Fat secret seems much more positive then the few other sites I've tried and I think it might have to do with that constant little heart and the word support on every post =)

Yum chocolate rice krispies...Did you make it into rice krispie treats or had cereal with milk? Do you find it hard to stay on track with the kids? What I mean is... I need to loose a few but I love cooking homemade treats for the kids and its so hard to not enjoy it too. This week I made bananna pudding from scratch it's a killer receipe and it was by shear luck I limited myself to a cup. I know everything in moderation but when its in the house it the struggle is so hard not go overboard. Feel me? Sorry to here ya'all have a bug, do you think its the flu? Hope it passes soon,

Nothing wrong with chocolate for breakfast. 😉 it also doesn't hurt to vary your caloric intake from day to day so your body doesn't get stuck in a rut. I try to look at my caloric intake on more of a weekly scale than a daily. As long as I stay under my weekly max, I consider it a good week.

Roosevelt1015- It's a challenge with the kids. For the breakfast this morning we did normal rice krispies in milk with ovaltine added (it was amazing lol). I was proud of sticking to one bowl (the kiddos certainly didn't haha). We make jello and pudding every weekend and put them in snack cups for our weekly snacks. We also make rice krispies treats, pop corn balls and cookies each week (my oldest is celiac disease so it's cheaper to make our snacky foods then to buy the gluten free versions). I don't know how I don't eat a ton on our snack making day, but I just limit myself to specific calorie limits. Starting in about a week I'm cutting out all baked sweets for lent (cookies, pies, cake etc...)- we'll see how that goes 0.o

Thank you Jackee11 =) Tiggr- that's sort of what I've been doing. I'm not sure if I'm going to change that for the challenge or not. When I had my intake set at 1300 I basically tried to stay between 1200 and 1400. I was planning to continue that as I stepped it down, staying within a 200 calorie range on a daily basis that averaged around my intake goal. It makes me feel less like I have to do the calories a certain way. I was thinking about trying the staying under thing for the challenge- but I'm just not sure if I'd be setting myself up for feeling like I was failing if I did. I know the challenges are about pushing yourself, but I know myself well enough to know the range is working because I feel like there's some leeway there to play with. We'll see. Thank you very much for the support and advice. Nice to know someone else is doing well with an average calorie intake concept =)

You are doing so well, 1244 is good. I always want to eat more calories than that, but I try to balance it through the week. Some days your more hungry than others
