I'm finally recording my weight. I don't know why I do this, if my weight goes up I won't record it; then when it starts to come down I don't get to celebrate it. [eyeroll] As if anyone else cares.

Anyway, I'm finally back down below 190, after more than a year struggling at a weight of 193-195. It's going to be recorded as a gain, since the last time I recorded my weight (400 days ago, apparently!) I weighed two pounds less. But make no mistake: what I am now doing is WORKING!!!

Since June 30, I've lowered my daily calorie count to at or near 1500, and my carbs to at or near a net of 20. At least at this weight, that's good enough to move the needle down. I've been trying to work in a little exercise, too -- mostly stationary bike, but a few other things, too. And my garden has never looked so good -- it's more of a workout keeping it that way than you might guess! On occasion, my ketosis stick reading has even been higher than it's ever been! So I'm feeling good. (I even bowled two consecutive games more than 30 pins above my average yesterday! Who knew?) ;)

On top of that, I'm almost *never* hungry. Turns out, at least in my case, eating less leads to *less* hunger. Talk about counter-intuitive! I don't know if this is the level I will maintain for the rest of my life; time will tell. But if it is, I'm ok with that. I really do feel good.
189.0 lb Lost so far: 8.6 lb.    Still to go: 24.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
