Super short walk last night because we went out, got to the park and then the rain started. Came home and crashed because I was tired. I'm still starting early, but the net result is that I go to bed earlier. These are some beautiful night blooming cactus flowers. Time for the desert blooms. Hoping we can make our way out there before they're gone, but not hopeful on that one. I hiked the hills above LAGUNA yesterday and could see the rain streaks over the ocean and the sky was dark gray. Perfect hiking weather but no rain for us. Beautiful.

I’m headed out to Palm Springs tomorrow to do a desert hike. Hopefully will see a lot of desert flowers. Everywhere is in bloom, hard or people with allergies but the natural world is gorgeous right now.

Yeah, I’m definitely not complaining about the rain, but it’s just enough that you get cold and wet, but not enough to prevent drought.
