MJ's mom's Journal, 09 December 2020

I am so excited to be at 148.8. Started at 185. I didn’t think I’d ever lose the weight. I actually wasn’t meaning to lose more weight - I was going to stay at 153lbs for 6 months but more is coming off. I think my eating has so significantly changed in the last couple of months that I need to figure out how to eat more.

I’d love to be 140lbs so perhaps I’ll keep going on this last bit of weight until I get there.
148.8 lb Lost so far: 21.2 lb.    Still to go: 148.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 1.4 lb a week

Isn't it empowering to meet and exceed your goals? I plan to get to the goal I set and then lose 3-5 pounds at a time and reassess whether to lose more. It is so hard to know what weight to embrace when I haven't been anywhere near that weight in decades!
