Don't know why my weight is up, ugh! Went out and bought ketone strips and will test later. Thanks for the tip SlushKitty...found them at Wal-Mart.
220.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 30.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You're welcome. I'm thinking about using the stix during the week & then weighing just once a week so I can avoid the stress that comes along with gaining back 1 or 2 pounds. It would be kind of hard for me to stay away from the scale, but I would still get the information that I needed regarding the foods that I'm eating with the sticks. You will be glad that you got them because even if you do have a weight fluctuation you can still see that you're burning fat for energy & at what rate & adjust accordingly. Tell me what you think about them & what your number is.

I find it difficult to stay off the scale, too. My first test shows "trace". I was disappointed, but after reading an article about the strips, I don't feel so bad. It said if someone is drinking alot of water, which I do, the results won't necessarily be purple because of the "flushing" going on. So, I'm going to believe that and continue on this journey!
