Katsolo's Journal, 11 September 2020

Day two of relatively little movement. Tried just resting again last night, sat in massage chair for a couple of cycles, that helped. The couch is not my friend. I got into the pool earlier in the afternoon and got right back out, the twisting to get in and out was too much so taking a break there. Will walk dogs tonight, another slow and steady vs. cardio push. I'll get through this, but it's not one I can push through the pain. Gotta let it heal. I can move more, doing gentle stretches and trying not to sit too long in one place.

I am so sorry you are dealing with this. More than a year ago I tweeked something in my back and could barely leave my bed for nearly a week. I was right as rain in a few weeks, but it sure made me cranky feeling like my fitness would deminish. It took almost no time at all to get it back once I could function and move properly again. Hoping the best for you!!!

Good to know there's hope in a few more days. I don't like my bed right now, it's too hard to move around and worse to get in and out of it. My windows are close to the neighbors' kitchen and I know they've heard me yelping and cussing. Worst thing is that it's my own darn fault. Oh well, it is what it is.

I’m stupid and pulled lower back on one side doing something i should have asked for help with. Reminder of mortality and stupidity.

Been there. Ice, ibuprofen and epsom salt baths can be your new friends. Helps me every time! I’m more stupit (as one.1 would say) as I’ve been known to repeat said stupitity! *spelling errors are intentional, I’m not really that stupid after all! 🤪

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. The one thing I did right was to buy Goody's powders at the end of last year so I'm well stocked and within expiration. They are the best OTC.

Try some heat and cold compresses, thie will reduce the inflamation and relax the muscles, seems too simple but it works for me every time! Feel better.
