My husband hid my scale last week cuz he said I was getting obsessed with weighing myself...lol. And I was! Pleasantly surprised that I lost a pound on weigh in today cuz I was not logging and overate. I did workout though.

On another note, the kids and I dressed up for Halloween this year, which was a FIRST. I haven't dressed up for Halloween in years (since college) and even then, I was a pumpkin because I was self-conscious about my figure. Anyway, I had so much fun this year as a gypsy! I even went out to a Halloween party with my girlfriends.

168.0 lb Lost so far: 35.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I don't own a scale! I prefer to go by appearance and health is at the fore front.

I got obsessed with the scale too. I decided to limit my scale usage to only every OTHER week. :) Also I like the mini-goal idea you have...may try that.

I am totally obsessed with the scale too. I usually get on it every morning I am not having to get out the door for class. I have been trying to limit myself to once a week though. If I had to go off appearance alone I probably would get discouraged. I don't think I look like I am getting anywhere but the scale tells me otherwise to it helps me fell better.
