Day 14 on the Atkins diet and results weren't like I had hoped they would be but I, know followed the diet 100 percent and I, look better to myself wondering when my family will start to wonder what have I done differently? Not gonna get bummed out but rather keep on as I have and just wait to see what happens next week especially with the new vegetable challenge.These challenges are wonderful as they give me something else to think about rather then focusing on my weight starting to exercise but haven't been doing it every day hopefully that will become second nature to me.
256.0 lb Lost so far: 1.0 lb.    Still to go: 101.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
gaining 0.2 lb a week

Hang in there! Our bodies are strange things and they always keep us guessing, but keep at it and the exercise could well become second nature. You'll get there! Best of luck to you! (O:

The second week is always a bummer. Definitely start an exercise routine and it should drop off just fine. I'm starting off pretty slow with mine...just 30 min. a day doing any type of intentional exercise, I wanna make it second nature to me too. I'm glad you joined my veggie venture! I'm hoping it'll help me get and keep this weight off!

Some people lose inches more than pounds which means losing fat and gaining muscle. Make sure to measure yourself. During the first 3 months on Atkins I only lost 5% body weight but 17% body fat (had it measured at the gym). I recommend going for a "size goal" instead of a weight goal on this diet. You'll be thinner and healthier. :) Keep up the good work.

Thanks for your encouragement and you are right on the money about losing inches even thou I have not measured myself my clothes are feeling like they fit better & it is sometimes hard to ignore the numbers game on the scale but hearing others say keep it up helps alot so THANKS !
