Hahahaha! I had to laugh this morning.I followed my food plan faithfully, then shoveled for two hours. Good exercise. I was really hungry last night and resisted the urge to snack, went to bed hungry, didn't sleep well, got up hungry, hopped on the scale like I always do...and .....gained. Of course. It's mornings like this when I go back in my journal and read how good it feels to lose a pound. I will stick to my plan today in spite of the overwhelming feeling to chuck the whole thing. I will be healthy today. There is a foot of snow outside guaranteeing that I will be sure to get my exercise in. Have a healthy day.

That darn scale! It is truly like the commercial, having a ball and chain attached to us! I grabbed a shovel yesterday to only do a path from the garage to the back door....no, no, no....forgot about the cracked ribs. Ow. Today, I start again, living moment to moment. I just started the 3rd book of the Hunger Games trilogy, so a good fire, a blankey, and the Kindle sounds great to me! All laundry and housework is done. YAY! Just need a snoring dog to complete the picture. Have a healthy day! Love ya!

Shovelling seems to be the flavour of the day. Just got in from about an hour of shovelling - I worked up quite a bit of sweat - that's a good thing. I'll be sore tomorrow. Had a mishap with my breakfast this morning, meant to get some protein in and well intended - boiled a couple of eggs - let them sit to cool while I showered - then drove to work and forgot to eat them! I resisted getting a Tim Horton's bagel and nibbled on a couple of dates instead. Going to wind down - feeling pumped - early day tomorrow. Good night and sweet dreams.

So how are ya feeling after shoveling all of that snow?? Your driveway always scares me with you out there shoveling! Sure wish I was more like you and liked seafood, or meat in general! I have been listening about your eating protein in the morning, and that really does help. I also have an egg right after school so that I fill my belly fast! Haven't had any problem with cholesterol so far in my life....sure hope I don't now! Hope you are having a good day. Thanks for being my fatsecret buddy. :)
