I started the 5:2 fasting diet on 7th January. Took some getting used to as it takes a week for your stomach to shrink from all of the Christmas overeating. Tried to follow as strictly as i could, however i didn't want to be too strict as i didn't want to fall at the first hurdle. Haapy with progress in first week. Didn't touch a drop of alcohol between Monday and Thursday!
