I feel really good about my progress so far. I really think I can hit 169 by Feb 1. I must say using this online tool has made all the difference. When I did Atkins before I thought some foods were unlimited and now I see even .5 carbs adds up over the day. Hard to stay under 25 but I'm losing so ..... also really helps to see others' progress and feel the support. so thank you to all.
176.8 lb Lost so far: 6.2 lb.    Still to go: 36.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Well, I think your progress is super! And you are so right - logging food is so easy using FS tools.

Elizabeth, you ought to feel good about your progress; I agree with Buffybear. I tried Atkins last year (when I was 25 pounds lighter), and realize now that just jotting down your food and looking up the values 'old school' style was buffoonery on my part. Food logging is easy on FS, which is why the Atkins site suggests logging over here. I scratch my head at the people who resist logging their food and yet use this site for Atkins. Atkins admonishes watching out for 'carb creep', and it sounds like you got your eyes opened to how easy it is to go over in a day just nickel and dime-ing .5 grams. That was a big lesson for me! With the intention and focus you are bringing to 'working the plan', I feel like your Feb. goal is realistically within your reach. Go Elizabeth!
