Good morning!
Yesterday I added some exercise to the equation. Instead of eating lunch, I spent the time doing laps around the inside of Founders Hall. I did 1.5 miles in 25 minutes. That's really not much, considering back in June and July I was doing 7-10 miles at a time, but it's a start.
I'm using the Calorie Counter app to journal all my food, but I'm not coming anywhere near the RDI. I don't feel that I'm starving myself in any way, so I'm going to keep going at this pace as long as it seems to be working and I feel this good. Perhaps I'm just used to a more aggressive pace from the Weight Watchers days. I really should find those old guidelines to be sure I'm getting enough fruits and vegetables and such.
Today should be a great one. I have steel-cut oats in the rice cooker as I type, and I'm headed out here in a bit to go snowshoe hiking with an friend and her daughter. I've never done that before, so this should be interesting.
Onward!
