Day 3---- Well, so far so good today. OK, exercising on south beach is very hard. Absolutely had a rough run this AM. Usually run 5-6 miles, but at 2 miles began struggling, had to walk often and only made it 4 miles. How do you exercise on this diet? Does it get better? But on the plus side I already feel like the bloated look my stomach had is starting to go away. Rock On!
125.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 10.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

maybe it's because you're still in the first few days of the diet, and your energy is low?? usually after the first few, i get a huge burst of energy, so maybe it will come soon for you! i think once things start to even out with your sugar, you will notice your metabolism straighten out, or become more predictable. good luck, and stick with it, it'll get better!

thanks navychickmbl, I definitely have the energy lows right now. Guess my sugar fixation was worse than I thought. I'll just keep plugging along. Thanks for the response.

make sure to have some protein before you exercise.. a low fat cheese stick or something you like with protein. Make sure you don't skip meals or snacks. Your journal looks like your eating well, so hopefully you will feel better real soon.
