Feeling good today... Doing weight challenge with the Payroll staff members at work n other state Payroll staff members. I am the only one taking the challenge seriously, if you don't lose at least 1lb you have to pay $5.00, if you lose your weight you still pay $1.00. All money is going into my cash app (I am their leader), at the end of the year who ever loses the most percentage of weight will win all the money on the cash app!!!
I am very competitive, plus I am having allot of heart/health issues I need to address. It motivates me even more to do better each week.
It's week 4, I have lost 10 lbs. Specialty coffee is my down fall, they had 54 carbs each, I sometimes would have "4", OMG!!! I can't believe it, 8 months of this type of behavior, some one turned me on to Dunkin donuts. I never liked Caribou or Starbucks, but Dunkin donuts Carmel iced coffee or Carmel cold brew OMG they are delicious!!! But I never ate, if I did it was chicken and fast food choices during lunchtime only, ate once a day.
I couldn't figure out why there was fast 25 lb weight gain until I saw the carbs on those Ice Carmel coffees x 8 months of this behavior. It's going to take double the time to take off the weight.....
I wish I knew, so sad!!!!
Taking the stairs at work plus walking on break... Really need to be more active, I have AS I am in so much pain all the time (very rare to have in all joints, that's me of course) or so tired from the meds I take..
It makes me sad, quality of life is difficult.
I have to be a role model for my girls, they are adults now. I try to show them nothing in life limits you but it's getting harder as I get older!!!
227.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 62.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I know what you mean about those iced coffees. I haven't had any for a couple of months now and I MISS THEM! They are so addicting.

I applaud ur dedication. Be careful of those coffee drinks! I know they can be addicting! I too have heart issues. I have a pacemaker n attenna quit working. Anyway..I lost almost 40 lbs and workout 5-6 days a week. Lots of weight training. Im determined to stay healthy and good for you for keeping with this challenge!

personally, I'm not into the flavored stuff, but get the beans, buy some creamer of your choice, and get the sugar free versions of the torani syrups to get you by. not only will it cost you fewer calories, it'll cost you a lot less money as well. there is even a SF salted caramel syrup at world market. haven't tried it, but all of those syrups are pretty awesome, so I can't imagine it would fall flat.

There are low carb and some keto copy cat recipes for most of the coffee drinks. Check it out!! They are easy to make and taste pretty good
