Ok I just read somewhere that a way to lose weight is by asking yourself, “is this the right portions for me? Appropriate amount of carbs? Fats? Protein? “

Mmmm how about NO! Only a skilled dieter can do this 😉 do not set yourself up for failure! You got yourself where you are at by trusting your gut. Take a seat, count your calories find a moderate calorie deficit and patiently wait to become a skilled dieter. (Takes yrs 😉)
120.0 lb Lost so far: 80.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Lol your guidelines of weightloss as a factor of weight is reasonable. Maybe suggest that? Trusting ourself to decide randomly the proper amount is why obesity is an epidemic.

Excellent advice! Extra calories can certainly sneak in, and our weight went to its highest when we allowed ou4 brain to tell us what we’re were eating and the amount was not a problem. You look wonderful!
