Up yet another pound :(

I noticed after reading my Atkins books again I was having too much heavy cream, so I cut it out except for in my coffee-cheese is under 4 oz/day so it's not that.

I didn't just lose a bunch and my body is adjusting. I have been playing with these same few pounds for weeks-I just don't get why I am not losing.
180.0 lb Lost so far: 13.0 lb.    Still to go: 20.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Msamy, are you weighing and/or measuring everything? Do you think there could be an error in your calculations? There could also be hidden carbs in some of the foods you are eating (sausages).

What did the book say about cream? I have heavy whipping cream in my coffee only. I have about 3 to 4 servings a day. How much are we allowed per day?

Kmartin-the sausages I eat I make from fresh pork, I measure/weigh everything that goes into my mouth. I try to enter everything I eat from the package info if it's not already on FS-I even compare what the FS values are becasue in some cases they are different. Amanda-The new book says 1-1.5 oz cream/day. The older books talked about servings vs ounces-but I need to review that section again. I am leaning towards doing the older Atkins (2002) because it worked for me then and this new way is just not. I must be carb intolerant-last time I did Atkins I stayed at 20 carbs for the entire 42 pounds but did not follow through with the phases. I just need to find what fits me...I know I'll figure it out. Hopefully sooner than later :)

Goodness, sounds like your body is really resistant. If you know it worked the other way, then by all means do it! My fingers are crossed for you.

It appears to be fighting me with all it's got LOL. I am not giving up though-I WILL win this battle :)

msamy, I am following a combination fo the 1972 book and the 2002 version. It is what works for me. It is slow, much slower than before, but that is my fault. Should have stuck with it the last 3 times!! lol
