Well it's a gain and I'm so SO frustrated. I'm sticking to the points, I'm doing more walking than before and yet only a few weeks ago I was losing without hardly thinking about it and a few meals out thrown in......

I've now started writing my food down on paper instead of relying on my WW organiser and when we do the shopping this week I'm thinking of looking at the kick start plan again to see if that will shift things into action. I'm still feeling huge, bloated and uncomfortable and wondering if that has something to do with the two slices of bread I ate yesterday....I had some the day before as well.

All in all I'm just frustrated - my initial reaction is to say blow it and reach for the chocolate but I'm holding strong so far and resisting......I really hope I can find a way of turning this around.....
172.2 lb Lost so far: 13.3 lb.    Still to go: 32.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.4 lb a week

Hold strong! You can do it...what can you change, mix-up or try out to shake up that metabolism?

Have you tried zig-zagging your points? Having high and low days? Gosh. I don't know what else to tell you. It seems like you are doing everything right. Try to make little tweaks here and there. Avoid the bread if you can since it really does seem to not sit well with you. Hang in there. You can get through this!

Thanks to both of you :) I'm feeling a little more postive tonight. Just making a start on writing things down feels like I'm moving forward in the right direction. I walked down to school to pick Harry up today and did it in record time, had a bit of a stich by the time I was at the school gate! We had a subway for dinner tonight and I opted for the salad...overall I'm at 19.5 points for the day. I may have a plain biscuit with a coffee later but that will be a half point one. I'm not too sure whether or not to steer clear of the scales for the full 7 days or maybe weigh every day to see how different days eating affects things.....I'll see how brave I feel in the morning!

Plateaus can be tough sometimes. I know, I've been there and AM there. I just make sure I am counting all my points...including all those licks, tastes and bites(they can really add up)we all do it when we cook etc. Drink all your water and sounds like you're getting your exercise. I'd say your body has adjusted to your current weight and , like others have said here, maybe mix up the points a bit. Make sure you don't CUT too many points, however, I did that and that totally made my body hold onto everything I DID eat. Hang in there! You're doing really well even tho you feel frustrated. HUGS TO YA!!

Are you currently doing the kick start plan if you're only eating 20 points today? I know that I can't eat the same amount of points every day, so try zig-zagging if that could be the problem. It's been quite hot here in the UK hasn't it... so make sure you're getting enough water. My scales aren't playing nice either at the moment! Grahh... up, up, UP... Friday morning back down to only 0.1lb less from last Saturday's weigh in... so will just have to see what the outcome is tomorrow. The only other thing I can suggest is focus on more core foods and avoid things like biscuits, cakes... says moi who had a cake earlier! I know I do better by avoiding them and focusing on more fruit and veggies to get my carbs and sugars from. Have you tried analysing your daily carb, fat, protein nutritional intake with the diet calendar too - I know its made me more aware of exactly what I'm eating and helped me lower my carbs. I weigh everyday too, but it can be a bit off putting when you see those scales hike. But you keep up the great work though and those scales WILL give in eventually!

Scales are our worst enemies... What types of bread are you eating? I love my bread and I'm sure it is what keeps the weight fluctuating all the time... As the others said.. try to mix up the points.. a could of low days and then a higher day... I am experimenting right now with the zig zagging and trying not to use my exercise points... It does seem to make a difference.. I am recording it all for the next two to three weeks to see if it makes a difference...Stick with it... it all takes time but is worth it in the long run... Have a Happy Mothers Day...

you should try the Wendi plan...you can find it by googling it..it goes by the old system of the points but just look for the points value that you have now and go with it...its amazing..you have high days and low days and one super high day and it really works...gets you out of a funk if your in one....check it out it works great!
