I am a wife, a mother of three and Nana to 7 wonderful grand children. After my 3rd child I kept on 5 lbs that seems to have hung on for dear life. Over the past 30 years (Yikes!) the weight seems to have crept on and now it is time to let it go. Other than WW 3 years ago, I have never been on a diet. Over the past 10 years, a life stye change has taken place. No more fried foods, no more fast foods and a lot more regular exercise. I had lost at least 30 lbs before starting FS and unfortunately, I have gained back 10 lbs.

I have witnessed so many success stories on this site and have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful buddies that each day motivates me to keep on trying. I have all the tools to lose the weight, I just need the resolve.

Today, I resolve to be true to myself and get to a healthy weight. I know I can do.

I thank all of those who have encouraged me in the past and I look forward to sharing this journey with them and new buddies I will make along the way.

A lb is 16 oz, 2.285 oz per day is all I have to lose to equal 1 lb a week. That should not be a formidable task.

This is a great site for support and it allows you to journal and to track your food... Good luck with your journey...It will be a long one with some bumps and plateaus along the way... you will receive much support here and remember .....It is well worth it...
