So I was out picking up oldest son from a birthday party, and hubby had mentioned he had to stop at Hardees to feed the little guy, b/c the bowling alley where the party was at, was a long way from home. So hubby ate there too and we decided not to cook last night.

And of course the ONLY restaurant around was Hardees. And of course that's the ONLY Hardees in our entire area. And of course I totally LOVE their mush swiss angus burger and their killer curly fries.

However as I was sitting in the drive thru, I was thinking about that huge burger. And how that I usually can't finish it, but I do anyways b/c they're so yummy and then endup feeling sick. So I was thinking maybe I could get one and just eat half. But then I knew myself better than that and knew if I got the burger and fries, I would eat every last bite and then feel miserable.

So I took a deep breath, and ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a side salad! Go me, go me, go me (picture a crazy woman in her PJs, standing in front of her computer doing the cabbage patch - am I dating myself yet?)

And the scale reflects my wise choice this morning, so yea! Always helps when you see positive results firsthand for making good choices. :)

I have a long day of book keeping ahead of me today. So say hi to my elliptical machine for me if I don't make it there today. :)

Thanks! I was very proud of myself last night. So much that it even deterred me from giving into a late night munching on some popcorn. I am so motivated by positive outcomes. :)

Good for you. I thought about eating the chicken sandwhich today at fuddruckers; had the burger. Don't regret it though, maybe tomorrow morning, but not today.
