ok still on a modified keto. My strips are purple (probably at the moderate shade or inbetween mod & high, which is great. I got a new digital scale so that is why my weight shows different. I compared it with my old one and I suppose the digital one is the right one even though it shows higher, but that just means my beginning wt was higher :-) So I will use this one for now on and toss the other one.

Heard something recently it was something like; Don't be discouraged when things don't go as you would like, it is a set up (for better things) not a set back.

I feel good now, even though the weight is not going down as I would like, my outlook is good, my mood is good, my energy is good, I don't wake up dreading things, with headaches, stomach aches. I do still have muscle aches but that is ok. I work though them with a positive mind.

I do have temptations and sometimes really wonder 'why i can't just eat/drink this or/and that' BUT I need to remind myself I CHOOSE NOT TO, I CHOOSE TO eat/do this and that (which is fueling my body/mind/soul) and I am not giving into the bombardment of the big sugar, processed, food industry to eat stuff or really C*#p that is really 'nothingness' Sure it may 'taste yummy' BUT with each taste it is highly addictive and creates a condition in my body, my 'being', ME that causes me wanting more and more and more of this "nothingness". This 'food' is not real, it is not really food, it is full of artificial, processed C*#p so I choose NOT to subject myself to it anymore.

This makes sense BUT it is not easy. It is a constant battle. But for today I am good, I will take it one day, one meal, one moment at a time.
