My dad passed away on June 29. It's been harder than I thought it would be. I'm doing ok, and I'm happy he is no longer suffering. But the finality of the whole thing is something I've never experienced with someone so close to me. While I was up there, I ran 13 miles including the Freedom Run 10k (~48 min). I also hiked the Y with my boys. However, I also ate way too much ice cream and other treats. All in all I'm pretty satisfied to be <160, but I feel a little softer and I think I've lost a bit of definition. I'll hit this week hard and then the big hike is next week!
