mickfan1's Journal, 16 April 2018

Again I had a weekend where I just ate and ate and ate some more. Not so good for the scale but it really made me start thing about my weight loss.

When I started this, my goal was to get to 160 pounds (34 pound drop). I made that goal quite awhile ago. BUT, every time I would get close to my goal, I would drop it by 5 pounds just to push me a bit more. I never really celebrated the "goal" because I never let myself get there. I need to celebrate making goals so I can feel like "I did it". It's like I don't want to give myself permission to be proud of what I did.

I hope this make sense. My advise to all of you struggling. Set a BIG goal but also little goals that you can celebrate as you go along. Embrace that moment of being proud of what you've accomplished then move on to the next mini goal.

Stay strong everyone and have a great week!

I wanted to get to 125 until hubby said I looked gaunt at 132. Now I'm finding it hard to get back to 132 (I'm 135). I think it's because of what he said. I think you need to set a goal now and celebrate when it happens 🙂
