wannabhealthier's Journal, 24 April 2018

good Tuesday morning just waking up already listen to meditation..... I try to listen to meditation each and every day would be nice to get into you listening at the same time every day but that doesn't always happen....

getting ready to change clothes get my riding dibs on and try to do another morning training route on Z wift.... get my morning endorphins running wild....

seems like when I ride it's easier for me to stick to what I put into my food menu my plan today sometime this morning his to make up a cauliflower casserole along with hamburger cheese and not sure what else you want to throw into this casserole go ahead and bake it up and that way when I come home today from my therapy on my shoulder it will be done and since I'm going to be tired or right now that's what I'm expecting it will be an easy task I'm having something already cooked up and much better and grabbing stuff and trying to stick with a habit that seems to work.... I've learned from the past that when I'm tired I binged so just trying to keep that from happening today after my therapy on my shoulder....

I guess it's time to get up close out this journal and get ready to do a morning ride....

have a great day and as always thanks to everyone for all the support and the helpful comments.....

Glad the morning meditation is something that is helping Mike and I agree with you about having food ready to eat when you are tired or know you are otherwise going to binge eat! LOL It’s a great help. 🤷🏻‍♀️I went so far last night as to pre-prepare low carb spinach and herb flavored low carb wraps by putting premeasured meat and melting a portion of cheese into them so I could just grab them and add salad to them for a meal to be ready. LOL Talk about lazy! It will take me longer to record my choices than to make them! LOL 🙋🏻

planning ahead always works better for me, too. Take it easy on the shoulder so you heal fully.

Hi Wannabe I like your posts. I think meditation and mindfulness are great concepts to learn and use as a tool to help the day. I am inconsistent with this approach. Kudos to you for doing it every day! I didn't hear what happened to your shoulder but I am glad you are able to ride your bike.

What is listening to meditation? Meditation is something you do, not listen to?
24 Apr 18 by member: shawnboss86
You can listen to music tones such as waterfalls, rain, wind, etc. and sometimes it is a guided meditation where someone helps you if you are a beginner.

@Shawnboss86 - there are guided meditation recordings you can listen to. There are apps, and guided meditations on YouTube. @Wannabehealthier - hope you get on alright with the physical therapy today. Glad you managed a good ride on Zwift. Have a lovely day 🙂

Just got home from my evaluation I have partial movement one way but when it comes to being able to hold my arm up or out in front of me it's like a dead weight...... they said that part of my movement is great part of it not so great and that in 4 weeks which is how long my therapy last then they will decide what to do after that

Good luck WBH! I’m being stymied by my arms right now too! Even my PT is saying to have the doc evaluate before he gives me any more to do. 🤷🏻‍♀️Take care!🙋🏻
