Well I think I need to not go to my mail box. It just brings problems yesterday I got a notice I've been called to serve on the Grand Jury and I won't know if I'm selected until the 12th of Sep. I was planning to leave to take care of Sandy on the 21st of August. I feel awful. When you call them you just get recordings.
Also my son called Friday saying his work hours have been cut in half. He was out of work for a year. He was working for himself then so there was no unemployment. I helped support him then but my funds are so low from doing that I'm not sure how it's going to work out this time it seems when it rains it pours. I've been thinking maybe I could get a job but there's not much out there for a 69 year old person and with my health problems I don't know what I could do. Please pray that his hours increase his name is John.
I'm still sticking to my WOE the best I can but I'm struggling trying to get enough exercise in. I'm trying to not get depressed it seems that this year it's one troubling thing after another. I keep thinking that I'll get a normal month soon but I'm beginning to wonder.

In my state, you can write an appeal asking for jury duty to be postponed if you have a good reason - taking care of your best friend seems like it would be acceptable.

Hang in there Addie, maybe your doctor can write you an excuse for jury duty.
