I completely understand! My husband CAN'T have a lot of veggies because of his low residue diet, and that's what I HAVE to eat! My daughter on the other hand my kids want the carbs... which of course I feel they need some of them too, so I make pasta for them or sandwiches or whatever. I'm a bit jealous, but I have to remind myself I'm 40 not 13 like they are! Lol 😆 And I'm so determined to get my skinny back!

I sure admire all of you who are staying strong around so much temptation. Someone from a weight loss video said, "remember why you are doing this and temptation will lessen". Hope it's true.

Yes that is hard but just think about how you will feel about yourself when you are losing weight and feeling great!

Can you modify family recipes to make them healthier for everyone? Use Greek yogurt as substitute for all or half the mayo, add celery, grated carrots and almond slivers for texture and more fiber, etc.

Use your journey to teach good eating habits to your children. If it’s not healthy for you; it’s not healthy for them.

If they want to eat junk then tell them they will need to cook it themselves. Otherwise, here is whats on the table. Will put a quick end to that conversation.

I hear you. I make sack lunches for my adult son and brother. I try to slip in healthy alternatives, but the rest of their lunch no so healthy.
