Eringiffin's Journal, 22 June 2012

I am starting to sound like a broken record but I still haven't lost any weight. I am not freaking out about it, though. Honestly, I don't think I have the mental capacity to freak out about it at this point. I am already fried from all of the stress in my life on other fronts. I went to my counselor today and even she was worried about me. I think the word that describes me best right now is frazzled.

It's been tough getting enough food into my system. I am running around all day with no time to plan meals and I haven't gone on any walks this week. Something has got to give!! I feel like the universe is trying to see how much pressure I can take before I completely come unhinged.

But all is not lost. I really like how Kingkeld wraps up his journals with things he is grateful for. I am grateful that my dog is showing real signs of improvement, that I have a paycheck this week, and that I have an amazing husband. Oh, and of course, I am grateful for all my wonderful FS friends!

At least you haven't gained weight, and it sounds like you have a great support system! Have a good weekend-

It might take your body a while to adjust to the higher calorie intake. As long as you aren't gaining all is well.

Mall walking is on my checklist! Just need to leave the wallet at home, lol. Plus, I think the best time to go out walking is right after the sun sets but before it gets dark.

The mall walking was an excellent idea. I love it! Plus I did some skinny girl homework. While my aunt was here shopping for her kids, we went into EVERY "normal" clothing store imaginable. Under any other circumstance, this would be too terrifying to even consider but role playing as her assistant, I was able to get through it. I realized that most of the stores were not as scary as I thought and at Banana Republic the clerk even asked me if I was wanting to try something on. That's even better than getting carded at a bar, in my opinion. Props to BR. The only one that had me scratching my head was Chico's. They only had 4 sizes, 0, 1, 2, and 3. What's that about? Anyways, it gave me some ideas about what brands I might like or not like once I get down to sizes that each shop carries. Also, an FYI for my FS buddies that may be approaching this milestone, the H&M clerk told me that their clothes run a size smaller than everyone else. So basically a size 2 there is equivalent to a size 0 everywhere else. Way to make a girl self conscious! No brownie points for them.
