I feel so frustrated and worn out today, like I hit an emotional wall this morning.

I'm doing everything I realistically can - I'm eating right, I'm exercising, and yet I'm not losing the weight, any weight.

I'm going to keep going - what else can I do? But - just feeling so deflated today, like a big fat failure.

Sorry you are feeling frustrated. Sometimes it just takes a little time for your body to catch up with the changes we make. Keep up the good work & the scale will move.

Thanks, apologies for being so glum, I know I'm making progress - my stomach is flatter, I've been able to up my weights at the gym because I've gotten stronger and my 5km time is getting faster. But not seeing the scale move in any noticeable way has been getting me down. I want to get my bmi below 25 and I want to do it by creating habits that are healthy and sustainable in the long run. It might be time to review what I'm doing and maybe see what I could approach differently to move my numbers in the right direction. Thanks for the support, its really nice to not feel like I'm all on my own.

Try upping your calorie in take. When your body gets use to something it needs a little spark to get going again. Also, try fasting. 16 hours plus would be ideal, but do it the way that works with your schedule! Best of luck!

I might suggest that you review the items that you ate today with a critical eye and see if what you ate today was a fair representation of the types of things you have eaten in the last 5 days. Then ask yourself if those choices helped to move you forward in meeting your goal or if they may have contributed to your lack of progress.
