Kenna Morton's Journal, 21 March 2018

I met the goal weight that I had set for myself. It was pretty painless because it was basically just how I eat every day. The only difference is that I really didn’t have much in the treat department. I like to cook, bake and try different recipes out. Normally I am a healthy eater during the week, but lighten up on the weekend and share a nice dinner and dessert with my boyfriend. He will certainly be happy about that.

Fat Secret is a fairly good program. That being said, if you cook and seldom use a real recipe but lots of ingredients it was very labor intensive to write your own recipe. The recipe program kept indicting that it didn’t recognize an ingredient and there you are. If I were diabetic I would really have to work on trying to figure out what Iwas doing wrong. Other issues with the food database but not going to bother dealing with it. Lastly, it would have been helpful to be able to always choose grams as a measurement choice. Many things don’t really lend themselves well to Imperial measurements. metric is so much easier.

No foods for tonight— a dinner whose nutritional values I can’t begin to calculate. Will just move on tomorrow.
