Today I have met my first goal of weighing in at under 160 pounds.I still feel good but I have been having leg cramps something awful, especially at night. I'm not sure what to do about this as it keeps me awake and I have to get up at 4:30 a.m. for work. Atkins seems to be working for me but I am really tired of meat, eggs ,cheese and salads. I have noticed the biggest difference in my mid section which of course makes me... happy! I hope I can do induction a while longer. My next goal is to weigh in below 150 pounds.

Congratulations on acheiving your first goal! That is wonderful. I too really suffered from leg cramps waking me in the middle of the night, also my diaphram and hands too. I've been taking potasium pills and they really seem to be helping.

Eat a banana or take some potassium pills.

Banana's are very high in carbs - better to take potassium pills for right now.

Thank you for the encouragement and telling me about the potassium pills. I bought a bottle yesterday and have taken two pills so far. I hope it helps..my hands and feet are cramping also. If this doesn't work I will try the bananna. Thanks again for caring enough to help. :0)
