Yesterday (day 3 of phase 1) was rough. I got a little light-headed after lunch. I was fine after a handful of peanuts, but I learned a valuable lesson about planning meal sizes. So far so good.

Yep....this is a learning process for all of us....Happy you're doing well.....I thought when I started on the 1st of Nov. that I'd NEVER get it right.....Keeping a food journal is EXTREMELY helpful - whether u do it on this site or another....That way, you get to see how your calories, carbs, and fat grams all addup at the end of the day......you can review and see where u can make changes......I didn't do a food journal until the first of Jan.....and I'm at a point now, where I eat three square meals a day, a couple of snacks.....and I struggle to get to a 800 - 1000 calories a day......I'm eating well AND losing weight.....and I'm VERY satisfied - It takes a bit of planning on my part though......Have a look seea t my food journal and see he kinds of things I'm eating......Lots of YUMMIES......Continued success!!! You CAN do it!

feeling light headed.. doesn't sound good! Make sure your getting enough protein We'd hate to have to pick you up off the sidewalk! :) It's great the your are sticking to phase one so well. The ones that follow it 100% seem to do best. Keep telling yourself, its only 2 weeks. My hubby did it and he loves the food. He ate a lot of omlete in the mornings, with Jimmy dean turkey sausge patties and salsa and some lite mexican cheese. He's glad to have oatmeal and stuff back in his diet now though. Keep up the good work, I just know you'll be a big success story around here!

THE BEST WAY 2 PREPARE UR SNACKS IS TO GET THEM READY RIGHT WHEN U GET HOME FROM THE STORE!!! BUY BABY CARROTS, CUCMBERS & CELERY (CUT THEM FOR SNACKING & PACK THEM INTO A TUPPERWARE CONTAINER FOR EASY ACCESS) TAKE A HANDFUL OF NUTS IN A LITTLE BAGGY. PRE ROLL UR TURKEY OR LEAN HAM (DELI) INTO ROLLUPS & KEEP IT INTERESTING WITH HEALTHY DIPS (IE:FAT FREE PLAIN YOGURT, CREAM CHEESE, LIGHT SOUR CREAM, OR COTTAGE CHEESE WITH SPINACH & FRENCH ONION SOUP (MY FAVE DIPS) ADD SALMON 4 A WHOLESOME LUNCH OR EVEN TRY HUMMUS---IT SEEMS NASTY FOR THE AMATEURS BUT ITS AWESOME WITH VEGGIES!!!) ALSO, NUTS ARE EVEN LESS WORK & LOTS OF FILLING PROTEIN!!! PLUS, THEIR CRUNCHY LIKE CHIPS SO U FEEL LIKE UR CHEATING BUT U KNOW ITS GOOD 4 U!!! SOMETIMES, HOWEVER, WHEN FOLLOWING THIS DIET (IF U DONT PREPARE AHEAD) IT SEEMS LIKE U ARE ALWAYS EATING OR ALWAYS IN THE KITCHEN!!!
