Getting ready to go to the store. Planning on buying my heavy cream, Kerry Gold butter, baby spinach, tuna (yuck!), ground beef, chicken, steak, maybe some ham. Free peanut butter from Kroger, of course! I'm going to select several different varieties of cheese from the deli, just have to make sure they are REAL cheese and not a "cheese product", which is NOT cheese. I'm looking through some of the photos attached here to get some ideas of what to buy for the week.

Read your profile and my husband had a ruptured diverticulum. Had 4 surgeries in 9 days. Took 6 mos to heal "stem to stern " open wound. March 7th he will have GIANT HERNIA repair, preceeded by closure of colostomy. You are very stubborn to resist the medical team, but good for you.

Yep, been through the surgical round myself. Still have permanent stitches and abdominal mesh holding my innards in. Quick tip for healing open wounds: Sit in the moon light. I am not kidding. My open wound was as big as both fists and an inch deep. It would not heal by normal methods, so I went back to my "moon bathing". Next trip, doc pulls up a chair and says, what have you been doing? I said why and he said it had healed 3/4 inches in circumference in 3 weeks. He needed to know how I accomplished that. I told him nope, you'll think I'm crazy. He said he didn't care, he wanted all his patients to know how to heal that quickly. I explained after I told him, the moon controls the tide, the tides are water, our bodies are mostly water, so why would the moon not help. It does.
