DCDesigner's Journal, 16 February 2018

Saw George Clinton with Parliament last night. Amazing show. I danced the night away. Today I have a headache from so much sweating and getting carried away with drinking and dancing. I kept chugging water throughout the night, but the temp was unusually warm for D.C. in the winter and the theater was hot. Still it felt good to get out on a school night, haven’t done that in a while.

My dad always told me the secret was a sports drink (low sugar only!) plus two headache strength Aleve before bed. Apparently the electrolytes and heading off the headache early really helps. I'm a lightweight myself so I haven't had the opportunity to test it much, but it seems to work well.
