Doing a carb refeed. I know some do not agree and feel it’s a step back. It’s a step back for 2 steps forward. Yes there will be water weight and cravings for a day or two. but I feel it’s vital for woman my age and older (I’m 40 May 1) long term dieting can cause your metabolism to go to sleep and woman our age do not need any help with that! So I generally do one meal etc and spike my carbs (today will be 60 ish and calories about 1700-1800) then tomorrow it’s woe as usual. I’ve been doing this a while I agree with the science and thing about the long term. The end game.

I took a moderate carb break from keto, and I'm hoping to get a good result now from resuming it. How often do you do the higher carb days? For me it seems to just happen from time to time anyway - holidays and family gatherings. Even when I'm being pretty good, a glass of wine or some fruit will slip in. It's just human to loosen the reins from time to time.

I don’t suggest it to folks till they have been in a bit but I to it once a week to once every two weeks. I don’t go carb crazy like the whole day I just do a meal and a couple drinks. Then fast and strictly start woe again the next day after I fast. I do 16:8 generally. If I’m starving I eat from my planned day.

I’ve rarely stalled over the last couple of year I’ve stalled a couple weeks like twice. When I do I usually do a fat fast and that’s helped me.
