Day 11 of my 21 ON track eating. I did go to a baby shower and had a small piece of cake and some bite size finger food. So, I am eating a 4 pt salad for my lunch to help with the extra points from this morning. I don't feel like I blew my day away since it was only a few bites. It just I don't have a clue how many points I ate. I am tempted to record my weight today in case I gain from this morning, but really don't think I will and I haven't use any of my extra 35 points as of yet. I also went on a hike this morning and workout all week long. I think I go ahead and weight, umm maybe. Oh, I don't know what to do. YIKES. Here to great eating for the rest of the day.

I don't mean to be a wet blanket but if the "extra 35 points" you spoke of are banked points then you can't have more than 10 because that is the maximum you are allowed to bank and you have to use them in the week you banked them. Otherwise you start from scratch the next week. But 10 points still goes a long way to helping you enjoy an evening out or a party, etc.

I thought you get 35 extra points a week, if you don't use them, you lose them. So each week you get 35 points, but they never carry over. Are you saying it is 10 points, not 35 points?

According to my ww leader and the meetings you can not bank any points. You get 35 extra points PLUS any 'activity' points you earn a week. Never banking any points to 'carry over'. I just asked her this question this past Tuesday as I was reading on others journals about 'banking'...nope. I just stick to my 20 points I'm allowed and, if I need, my 35 extra for the week and it seems to be working. GOOD LUCK TO YA! ;O)

hi i was reading some of your posts about the banked points, and I am kind of confused on how this works.......so are you only surposed to bank 10 total in a week? I thought in flex points you get 35 a week. I do it the old school way. My allowance for the day is 25. I get AP'S for how ever long I work out. Then at the end of the day I bank what ever points I have left for the day. I was always told that you can't bank more then 5 a day, no matter how many you have left for the day. Then that you are not surposed to use more then 10 banked points at a time. Please help me understand all of this. Thanks

This is how I was taught... I have 20 points to eat a day.(NO carrying these over from day to day...use them or lose them, according to my leader) I get activity points IF I exercise to add to my 20 points. I get 35 points to use for the entire week EXTRA. No 'banking points' week to week. ONLY the 35 points get carried over day to day but NO week to week. Make sence???
