I am thinking of setting up 2 challenges starting in the new year. Noticed there is only one upcoming challenge. When I set these up, invitations are sent to those who follow me or who I follow. So if you aren't interested, don't pay any attention, no need to apologize or send me an email.
The challenges I want to do are specific to my current health issues. So I will do one challenge for people who want to lower their cholesterol - whether it's total cholesterol (should be below 200 mg), triglycerides (should be below 150 mg), HDL cholesterol - good cholesterol (should be over 50 mg) or LDL cholesterol (should be under 100 mg).
The other one is for inflammation, a long ongoing concern of my that hasn't improved in at least 1 1/2 years.
Let me know if you are interested and what you think. I will not make many specific challenges - leaving it up to each person to work out a plan than works for them. For example, I plan to give up beef totally and also egg yolks but that isn't necessary to keep the dietary cholesterol you consume below 200mg (which is recommended to lower your cholesterol.
Anyway, I really like the FS challenges. I've joined many of them and always pay attention to how much weight I lose during the challenges compared to everyone else and I LIKE TO WIN! Even though winners aren't announced and I don't think that's the reason for the challenges. But I tend to be competitive and it helps me stick to the plan. I have noticed that often many people sign up, but by the end of most challenges there often only a few active challengers hanging in there.
