chris72700's Journal, 08 December 2017

i am making lifestyle changes by replacing evening TV time by reading. Currently reading a book titled This will change everything by john brokckman. This book is blowing my mind away. one of the 2 pages articles in the book is from dean ornish and it called the spectrum, it explains that lifestyle changes can alterate our genes and revert serious heart or liver conditions. I bought the book and will read it next. i have done a lot of thinking about weight loss mechanisms, digestion, trigers, etc. I am convinced that the starting point of any successful lifestyle change for better health and weight loss starts by sleep. At least 8 hours of daily good quality sleep. Sleep is the healing nutrient of the brain and soul, it will give you clear thinking mind to make the right nutrition choices and decrease your appetite and cravings, on that solid foundation you can build your strategy: calories count, exercise, meditation, stretching. By decreasing the level of stress we impose on our bodies in this high paced society, we signal our bodies an imminent danger. Our bodies's response is fat accumulation as a mean to deal with whatever danger there is
