December 8 2017, half a glypizide was not enough after eating sour cream and a rice/cheese casserole for supper. (day's total 1350) Blood sugar 145. Weight remains a stubborn 181.6. It seems suspicious that it remains precisely that. My other scale says 180.4. I am not sure how electronic scales work, but maintaining an exact weight by ounces day after day is kind of odd. Do they rely a lot on memory?
I took another half a gypizide at breakfast, as recommended by my doctor. I hope I can get on top of this. Once the liver stores certain amount of sugar it's hard to get that morning blood sugar down. But this is the time to do it!
10:00 a.m. Even half a glypizde can make you very hungry when you eat high protein. I ate a Chocolate zero piece 45 calories--mostly fat, and a half of a pure protein chocolate bar. 100 C,10 protein and 8.5 carb.
