ShyGuy's Journal, 30 April 2012

I had planned on waiting until I reached my next interim goal weight, but, as I haven't lost any weight in the past two weeks, I went ahead and updated/recalculated my RDI today. I'm hoping, that by staying within the new RDI, and getting refocused on lowering my net carb intake; the catalytic effect will be to jumpstart my weightloss again. Though I'm pleased with my weightloss, so far, I realize that I still have a long way to go; and there's no room for complacency; so the battle wages on. :-)

The battle will most likely be with us for the rest of our lives. I don't think we can ever return to our old eating habits. At least it has become much easier to say "no" to certain foods. As far as loosing, you may have hit a place where your body adjusts. As long as you keep to the plan you will loose again. You have come a long way my friend. Recalculating your RDI, I did that, have 100 less calories now than before. It's not hard to keep within that range. What it has done is make me a little more contious of the calories. Have a wonderful day!

Thanks ladies. I agree with both of you, this is a life style, and as you said, Gigi, "At least it has become much easier to say "No" to certain foods"; because it has. I have 200 less calories, now, than before, but that's okay, because I probably didn't need them anyway, and I actually thought I was going to lose more than that, with the recalculation. :-)

You've done so well, I'm glad you're sticking to it and keeping on yourself. With this new RDI hopefully it'll kick you back into gear. Keep it up :)
