Said in my best Tony Stark voice; "Oh it's great to be back!"

I went AWOL for a few days, but in my mind, it was justified! Both of my boys came home for Thanksgiving, and I took full advantage of it!

We drove and visited, we ate, we ate some more, and we had a ball! However, my boys looked after me a bit. I asked them to "police" me a bit, and they only questioned me once!

I had 3.5 days of carbs in one plate! I enjoyed every bite of it as well!!!!

But you know what? I'm DOWN in weight! Why? Because I stayed with MOST of my plan! I exercised, I drank my water, and I stuck with my normal routine as much as I could!

Oh, did I mention that we went out for Mexican one night? Yep, even at a Mexican food place, I stuck with my plan, for the most part.... I had some chips and salsa, and I ate 2 corn tortillas!

I learned something this last week! We CAN have a little goodness in life and still maintain and even lose if we work smart!

Ladies and gents that are struggling and suffering with their plan, this isn't a life sentence that we have to suffer through, it's a marathon that we have to pace ourselves for.... Live life and enjoy, but in moderation!

Yes, I COULD have lost a bit more over the last week, but I enjoyed life with my children, I ate some things I haven't since July of this year, and I had a good time! Now, its back to being strict with myself, but I now know that now and then, I can be "bad", and everything will be just fine!

Tomorrow is Wednesday, we will be half way through the week! Let's rock it!

Oh, the pic below is my cheat meal! Homemade sauce, pasta, and bread....

🤤 yummy!! What seems like a "cheat" meal was no ordinary meal, it was a memory forever embedded in your family's mind!! Keep the spaghetti tradition, no matter what. One day the Grand-babies will need to have "Sunday after Thanksgiving" spaghettis too!!!
