Good day all. Nice weigh in at 225.0, saw flashes of 224.X

Once I am at 224.X something, I will know I am lightest since around 2002. I changed jobs in 2002, and started traveling much more. I can remember eating and drinking to extremes. When your home with your wife and family, there is a certain level of sanity you maintain. Once your on the road, eating out every meal, a certain healthy part of you dies. I know, it is possible to eat healthy when going out occasionally. Try doing that for weeks/months at a time without a choice of a hotel room. I think it is damn near impossible. Well, maybe for those Atkins "people". Plus it is lonely/boring on the road, and you fill those gaps with food/booze.

I cant honestly say my weight gain went into turbo charge in 2002 though, because it was consistently rising since I turned 18. About 185 in 1991, 200 in 1993, 220 Around 1998. I guess I hit critical mass around 250. I used to call 250 my "fighting weight". It was I thought I was stable at with eating and drinking beer. That was until I went on a long holiday! And seeing 275 this past year, which was sort of my bottom (and top hopefully) just reassures me that my weight was steadily climbing.

Anyway, enough dwelling on the past.

Yesterday was good, chicken for lunch, had leftover brisket and veggie pita for dinner. No exercise, I was beat from a bad night of sleep, and the previous days workouts perhaps.

Hopefully I can get off early today and take a nice bike ride. My path that I have laid out for my biking is getting too short, I am able to clear it in about 30 minutes now. That's good, it was taking be about an hour not too long ago. I suppose I need to ride back down some other trails before heading over the bridge.

Don't you love it when you see flashes of a lower number on the scale! I find it very motivating. Good job on the biking. I need to dust mine off! I have a trail just 30 seconds from the house...so I know I should do more than just walk it!
