Thought I'd share the link to my thread on MFP. It has become very popular over time. It shows that as long as you're tracking your calories and remaining in an overall deficit you will lose fat no matter what you eat. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10348650/cico-still-skeptical-come-inside-for-a-meticulous-log-that-proves-it/p1

Seriously awesome. Loved the thread. :D And inspiring. I've been at this for over a month and lost about 15 lb. I've just been making small changes in my diet—nothing major because I knew that wouldn't last. But there's a lot of stuff on the forums here against CICO so it's hard to keep believing that sometimes. Your experience is definitely helpful.

Glad that you enjoyed the thread. Yeah, and none of the things against CICO on this forum are based on solid science, just theories. Sites like MFP have very knowledgeable members that will steer people straight.

It's all CICO....just different paths that folks follow to do it....

but did you really feel good? do you think it was the exercise making you feel satisfied - in other words: what would happen if you tried to maintain a deficit eating junk without all the the exercise ?

Jhall..I don't think that many people can maintain a consistent CICO way of life by eating 1500 Kc of pizza everyday...the body needs certain nutrients and will hunger for them. To maintain a sustainable healthy life style, a person must find the right fit for them that keeps a negative CICO. Only eating junk will satisfy for that moment while a person is eating it, but in about 30-45 minutes they will be wanting to eat again. Eating to way our bodies have evolved to eat is the only way to be successful in the long run.

Exercise makes you hungrier so my guess is that it would be even easier. Also, many would call the fat "bombs" and bacon junk.I bet that there are more nutrients in Pizza than Bacon and other keto foods.

And yes, I felt great.

I was also incorporating Intermittent Fasting so that made it much easier. Half a hot n ready pizza is pretty filling as one meal.

Yes I feel great on IF. Before I couldn't wait to eat breakfast when I woke up. Now I don't think about food and eating as much. Still my exercise is moderate-sta bike-not much else but I give myself kuddos for 45 minutes due to my mobility issues. Looks like your young and healthy. Keep up the good work😇
