With some extra meds the coughing is easing up just a bit, at least not so frequent.
GD's varsity team won the quarter finals for state!!! they play their first game at state on Friday morning. Kinzie is a JR so her 3rd trip to state softball, they were so excited! I was very happy to get to the game but couldn't yell, made be cough horribly! LOL
The weather feels like Florida without the salt smell in the air. Hot and sultry. We are under severe storm warnings and watches.
Bought animal feed and food for me this coming week on the way home. I would love to be able to buy everything I use organic but cannot, either outrageous $$ or not available. I buy organic when I can. Like the beans I am cooking $1.49 per pound Mexican store $23.00 plus $20+ shipping for one pound organic on line as I cannot find them anywhere else. I buy them at the Mexican store.... 40+$$$ a pound for beans--insane. 10+$$ per pound for organic chicken, bought Sprouts brand with no artificial injections etc but not organic. $1.88 per pound, Food has to fit the budget. No option to buy a pound of beef shank organic, bought some at the Mexican butcher shop for soup this week. Shank used to be cheap less then $1.00 now $2.99 per pound. Grass fed chuck was $12.00/lb.
I haven't found organic food for my chicken's age. Only layer feed and they are not old enough for it. I would love to find some/ Layer feed (when laying eggs) is $30.00 + a bag and regular is like $10.00 per bag, still hunting for a viable option partially because for extras I have a couple people who buy organic eggs.
FYI PTSD is serious. Victims of spousal abuse and their children should also be treated. I've never found an option for that dealing with health insurance and I think my children need it-- it is still affecting their lives, my youngest is 37.
