I was just reading back on a post where there were opinionated people who felt the need to express their points of view against the HCG diet. ALL OF THEM, kept stressing that starving yourself was not healthy ( stuck records about starving this and starving that), although not one of them could see through their ignorance and actually understand what the HCG diet was and how it works. Now that I have completed the second phase, on the VLCD part, I will say this as having first hand experience.

A - I absolutely did not starve my body in any way causing adverse effects.
B - I had tonnes of energy from my fat stores constantly fuelling me and making me feel satisfied. This is a fact as I kept up my usual work/living routine with lots of activity and actually felt I had MORE energy
C - I lost 30+ lbs in 48 days leaving me feeling uber happy and less unhealthy thus putting me back into clothing I previously could not wear!
D - I no longer have chronic headaches like I frequently experienced before I started this diet
E - My friends pay me constant compliments about how well I have done and how much better I look as I seem more vibrant and cheerful in my face and eyes!
F - I have a good jump start on continuing with a healthy active lifestyle as one would with a diet that includes a normal amount of calories.
G - I don't see or feel one negative aspect of this whole process!

Most people mean well. Many people do well on HCG and some keep the weight off. Some people have problems. To me if it's done properly and under a doctors care, then most people will be fine. So enjoy your success and don't worry about others opinions. We all have have to do what is best for ourselves. I've tried 500 calories a day and got real sick, so I know it's not for me. But whatever works and makes you happy. So continued success in keeping it off.

Even though I've been struggling this last week, I am still SO happy with this program! hCG is a miracle. The thing that bothers the diet world is that once you get down to your goal weight and learn how to stay there, you don't need to buy any more product. Just think of all the money we'll save! Yes Zen is an inspiration and so are you, Nurse! We all are completely changing our lives for the better! Yea US!!!
