let's see...since i weighed in last, my best friend passed away, as well as a BFF from 30 years ago (was my maid of honor way back when).....a neighborhood young man that i've known since they were in kindergarten with my son, and one of my son's best friends committed suicide 1 1/2 weeks ago.......i hadn't had a cigarette for 10 1/2 months....needless to say i smoked too.

i'm still grieving from all this and trying desperately to get my head on straight. stress is tough.

so i'm trying. i'm still crying, but i'm going to try........
182.0 lb Lost so far: 5.0 lb.    Still to go: 37.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

I can't imagine the pain you're going through, and watching your son go through the pain of a loss has to be almost unbearable. Keep your head up!Also only gaining .9 after all that emotional stress is admirable!

thank you much - amazing what grieving can do to you mentally too. my son is just 20, his friend was too. i've been through losing both parents and it was sad, but they had lived their lives to the fullest. We expect to see our parents pass, but not necessarily close friends....it leaves a void that i just wasn't ready to deal with.....but time will heal the grief, even though i'll always miss them. With my friends, it's a reminder that i need to get healthy.....this is a way to get back on track! They would want me to! :D
