Went to a 4 year old birthday party yesterday. Ate 1 slice of pizza, 1 slice of pound cake, and 1 scoop of ice cream. And boy did it show on the last day of this round!!! I guess I should have done what my friend thought we would do ...not eat the junk. When hubby and I got home, we felt weird...and then realized it was due to we had 3.5 cups of veggies missing and 2.5 proteins missing. Learned that junk fills you up temporarily and later leaves you empty, while clean eating fills you up and keeps your full longer. Though weight up, I am not discouraged. We planned on participating in the party festivities and would not have changed a thing. #notdiscouraged #lifegoeson #todayisanewday

Quite right! Junk doesn't stay with you. However it's unlikely that you ate enough of it for your quite small gain to be fat, and it sure isn't muscle, so it is just water, and will disappear once your body rebalances with normal eating.
