I am feeling down. Not really sure why. I am on my period so that could be a reason. All of the sudden I feel as though I have a really, really long way to go. I feel like giving it all up. It seems as though I have to put so much into it all the exercise and the food restrictions (amount-portions). I feel deprived and for what 1-2 lbs a weeeeeeeeeeeek???

Look up! Now keep your head up! 1 -2 lbs. a week multiplies and multiplies and then you're going to find yourself saying, "it didn't take all that long, compared to how long i didn't feel thin and healthy"! You are building character right now - you will be so proud of your new body to go along with your strong character! you can do this.

I read a quote on here not long ago. It said 'imagine youself in a years time starting out on your diet and thinking, i wish id started this a year ago, id almost be there by now' It really stuck with me and everytime i feel like giving up i think of my fat still being stuck to my body in the same places in a years time. Makes me think twice!

I REALLY LIKE THAT QUOTE IT GOT ME THINKING.... wow why do we allow ourselves to be sooooo miserable in our own bodies!! and its one of the few things in our lives that we can control! we have one body forever

Don't give up. I know it seems daunting... and some days it just feels like your making the effort but not seeing any results and the results you do see seem like a pittance of what you could be getting if you had several thousands of dollars and a good liposuction doctor. I want you you to know something... and I want to make sure you read this properly. Come in closer... just a little bit closer... just a little bit more... YOU'RE WORTH IT, you're worth every single point you count, you're worth every single healthy meal you cook, you're worth every step you take and every candy you deny, you're worth 15 grams of bran a day, and 4 servings of fruit and vegetables, you're worth making healthy choices. You are worth having a healthy body for years to come.
